These terms apply to the Huphi Marketplace app and website, operated by Huphi. By creating an account you agree to them. Contact: admin@huphi.com.

1. What Huphi Marketplace is

Huphi Marketplace connects customers with independent businesses, drivers, runners and security or emergency responders. The work itself is done by them, not by Huphi. Each job is an agreement between you and the business you accept a quotation from.

2. Accounts

• You must be 18 or older and give accurate details.
• Keep your login private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Businesses must hold the registrations, licences and insurance their work requires (for example PSIRA registration for security services) and keep their verification documents current.

3. Requests, quotes and jobs

• Quotes are offers from businesses. Accepting a quote creates the job at the quoted price.
• Businesses must do the work as quoted. Customers must give accurate information and safe access.
• Rides, deliveries and errands use pickup and delivery codes. Only give your code to the driver or runner when they are with you.

4. Payments

• Payments are processed by PayFast. Huphi receives the payment and pays the business, less any platform fee shown before you pay.
• You can request a refund in the app. Refunds are reviewed case by case; if a job is disputed, payment to the business is held until it is resolved.

5. SOS response

• You see the responder and the price before requesting. A responder is dispatched only after accepting and after payment.
• Arrival times are estimates. Responders are independent, vetted businesses; Huphi does not guarantee their availability or response time.
• Once a responder is on the way, the call-out fee may be non-refundable if you cancel.

6. Acceptable use

Do not post false requests or quotes, harass other users, take payments outside the app to avoid fees, upload content you have no right to share, or interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. Reviews and content

Reviews must be honest and about the job. You keep ownership of what you upload and allow us to use it to run the service.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Huphi is not liable for the work, products, conduct or delays of businesses, drivers, runners or responders, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time (see Delete your account). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
